Chasing is a method used to form neat channels in concrete or masonry structures called “Chases”. These chases are formed using a twin bladed dustless extraction system. Two parallel slots are formed in the substructure to the depth and width required. After which the channel is broken out using a light weight breaker leaving a clean neat channel.
The depth and width of the cut can be varied to suit the requirement and can be cut to site instruction of length.
This method can be quick and relatively dust free and is used to cut chases for conduits and pipework in walls, floors and ceilings. It is suitable for all types of Concrete, brickwork and blockwork.
